My Future, My Fantasy is the theme of the Dutch National Jamboree 2008.This event, which is organized once in every four years, takes place from Monday 21st July until Wednesday (Departure Day) 30th July 2008 and will be held at Landgoed Velder in Boxtel (south of Holland). This part of the country offers a marvelous location for lots of activities such as hiking, canoeing, climbing and mountain biking combined with lots of other activities as music, theatre, International Dinner, open stage, Scout FM, movie evenings, friendship award, swooping and great opening and closing ceremony in touch with the Dutch culture.
Darunnajah Scout participated the world scout activities during 1990-1991 in World Moot Mondial – Gillwell Park-Melbourne participated by Leader Mardani Djuhri, followed by the Malaysian Scout Jamboree in Negeri Sembilan on 1997 followed by Leader Wahyu Fajri with 11 Darunnajah Boys Scout as the present of NSO (National Scout Organization) Of Indonesia in Lomba Tingkat 5.On 2003 15 Darunnajah Scouts Participate in 20th World Scout Jamboree in Sattahip Chonbury Thailand, 9 Scouts 1st ASEAN OUTBOUND in 2003 (Host By H.Mardani Djuhri to Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore by land), International Scout Gathering-Kaprsikh Cairo Egypt in 2003 followed by Leader Zakiyanto Arief, 14 Scouts in 2nd ASEAN OUTBOUND / SCETRO (Scout Educational Recreation Tour) in 2004, International Scout Gathering – Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia in 2005 followed by Leader Fahd Noor, and 12 Scouts in 20th Australian Jamboree 2004 in Adelaide Australia and 14 Scouts in 21st Asia Pacific Jamboree Mount Sorak South Korea in 2005, Nippon Jamboree 2006 followed by Hj.Emah Maziyah, and other scout activities in Indonesia region.
The registration of Dutch National Jamboree 2008 according to the Official Letter of Indonesian NSO (Guided By Ka’.Joedyaningsih and Ka’Adiyatma) started on 1st February 2008 with 7 Darunnajah Scouts Participants registered their name to join this Jamboree are: Nur Aini Hanan 1st Year Class, Chika Aghniya 4th Year Class, Abdurrahman Sagara Prakasa 2nd Year Class, Nyayu Sophia 2nd Year Class, Endah Dwi Pratiwi 2nd Year Class, M.Tawafi Alfiansyah 2nd Year Class, Pasti Asma Moetwa 2nd Year Class, and we hope other Darunnajah scout will join this Jamboree and we are awaiting till 30th April 2008 for the last registration. LETS OPEN THE WORLD TROUGH SCOUT ACTIVITIES AND LETS MEET NEW FRIENDS TODAY AND KNOWING LEADER TOMORROW TO MAKE THE WORLD BETTER AND PEACE ON EARTH.
